Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar today revealed his much-awaited look from his debut movie ‘Bombay Velvet', where the director-actor is playing a villain.
Johar, 42, is playing a negative role of Kaizad Khambatta in the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer, which marks his full-fledged acting foray.
The ‘Student of The Year' director, who is sporting a look with moustache, shared the photo on Twitter. “The villain in anuragkashyap72's BombayVelvet... Kaizad Khambatta, essayed by yours truly!” Johar, 42, tweeted.
Wearing a brown suit, the filmmaker looks serious as he holds a cup of tea, in a still from the upcoming film.
The movie, based on historian Gyan Prakash's book ‘Mumbai Fables', also stars ‘PK' actress Anushka Sharma. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, it is slated for a May release, this year.
