A new and younger look of Kangana Ranaut as Jayalalithaa for Thalaivi has been released by the makers today to mark the birth anniversary of Jayalalithaa, where the Queen actress looks like a mirror image of the revered politician. Clad in a white saree with black and white border, the look is of Jayalalithaa in her 30s when she was about to enter politics. Not only the outfit and overall look, but even Kangana’s facial expressions do complete justice to those of Jayalalithaa. As soon as the image dropped online, internet erupted in praise of Kangana nailing the look of the late superstar turned politician.
Sharing a picture, the Twitter handle of Kangana Ranaut's team wrote, "On #Thalaivi 's birth anniversary, here's another glimpse of #KanganaRanaut looking like a mirror image of #Jayalalitha".
Twitter is in awe of Kangana Ranaut's new Thalaivi look as Jayalalithaa. Several social media users said that the transformation is simply stunning and can't wait for the film to release in the cinemas.

Earlier, dressed as a classical dancer in bright red, green and golden ensemble, Kangana posed in the middle of a Bharatanatyam dance step and our jaws just dropped to the floor in awe.

The film is the first official biopic made on the politician and Kangana is working extremely hard to polish her skills. Directed by AL Vijay, Thalaivi is slated to hit the screens on February 20, next year. The film is being made on a grand budget and trails Amma’s life from the age of 16 to her filmy career, her political rise, illness and death.
Thalaivi is a biopic of Jayalalithaa, who was a filmstar and renowned dancer before she forayed politics, and went onto become Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Thalaivi will release in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu. It is being directed by AL Vijay.
Apart from learning Tamil for Thalaivi, Kangana enrolled herself in Bharatnatyam classes for her role as Jayalalithaa. She is also reported to have spent hours on prosthetic makeup sessions.
The film is slated to release in June 2020.
