New Delhi: Actress Kangana Ranuat, who is among the top ranked beauties of B-town, has made several shocking confession about her life recently.
The actress revealed that she was far away from being an ‘ideal' child for her parents. Being born in a small town, Kangana as a girl was never in sync with the Indian culture.
"Perhaps the only expectation is that you grow up as a presentable young woman and get a decent spouse. I was a pain, not the kind of child an Indian parent would like to have," Kangana confessed to a leading daily in an interview.
Furthermore, while talking about finding success in Bollywood, Kangana said that her life was never a fairytale and she struggled for 10 years to reach the position where she was today.
“It was no fairytale. I was nothing like I am today – I couldn't speak a word of English. In England, people might be having understanding of that, but in Mumbai if you don't speak English, people would ask
'How does she expect to work in Hindi films?' Today I am who I am because my understanding of myself never changed.”
Kangana tasted success in Bollywood with movies like Tanu Weds Manu, Queen, Tanu Weds Manu Returns etc.
Today, she is the reigning queen of Bollywood with national and Filmfare awards in her kitty.
Even megastar Amitabh Bachchan praised Kangana by calling her ‘talented and wonderful'.
Her story, undoubtedly, is a true inspiration for aspiring Bollywood actor/actresses.
