In Dushman, this actress played the role of two striking personalities and did the utmost justice to the role.
Everyone just love see Kajol on the screen. Be it for her emotional yet strong Naina in Dushman or the innocent girl in love, Simran in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. The actress has carved a niche in the industry for herself and her magic isn't going to dwindle in the coming times as well.
With her prodigious acting skills, Kajol has always managed to catch eyeballs and after every role, she kept adding to her legion of admirers.
Kajol, who was born to actress Tanuja and film director Shomu Mukherjee on 5th August 1974, has been one of the most successful actresses in the 1990s and thereafter.
She is perhaps one of the very few heroines of Bollywood, who made fantastic choices in terms of the roles that she has played in movies.

Kajol's behaviour initially in her career was amateurish and the actress admits that she overcame this by the passage of time and became more mature later. On 20 April 2003, Kajol gave birth to a daughter, Nysa. Seven years later, on 13 September 2010, she gave birth to a son, Yug.
Rani Mukerji's Chalte Chalte role was offered to Kajol initially, but the actress wanted to have a break and spend some time with her family, so she rejected it. Her all time favourite flicks include Gone with the Wind and Casablanca. Her favourite actress is her mother Tanuja.
Kajol loves reading books, specially science fiction and horror novels. The actress loves listening to old melodies as she finds a certain bit of innocence in them. She is also fond of writing poems. The Bengali beauty received India's fourth highest civilian award, the Padma Shri, in 2011.
