New Delhi: Bollywood actor Bipasha Basu has said her relationship with her ex-boyfriend John Abraham was  a closed chapter in her life.

Replying to questions from Rajat Sharma in India TV's show Aap Ki Adalat, Bipasha said: "Matters of heart and relationships are sometimes very tricky. Nobody wants a breakup.

"I too as a normal girl thought we shall remain together forever, but there are reasons why things don't last. You may not know it at that point of time, but today I feel whatever has happened was for the better", said Bipasha.

Asked whether she was confused about choosing a 'lucky boy' in her life, Bipasha Basu said: " As far as John is concerned, I am not confused. It's a shut chapter in my life."

Asked whether she would agree to work with John in any film, Bipasha replied: "From my end, there won't be any problems. If both of us agree to work as mature, civilized  professionals, then there's no problem."

Bipasha also spoke about her controversial kiss with footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and her remark that 'all men are losers'.

"It was an off-the-cuff remark. A reporter asked me about so many hot men around me, and I jokingly said 'all men are losers'. I never meant it. I later tweeted: I love men. It's true I love men. All my friends are males. I think men are fantastic."

On Ronaldo's kiss, Bipasha said, it was not a kiss at all. I had gone to Portugal for the Seven Wonders of the World event. Later there was a party at a disco, where the paparazzi was not allowed.

"You see, Ronaldo was too tall, and he was having difficulty in hearing me. He bent his head towards me several times, and it appeared as if we were kissing. The picture was not doctored, and it appeared in The Sun tabloid.

"It was one of the most embarassing moments in my life. I am not the kind to cheat on her man. Whenever I love anybody, I love wholheartedly."

On kissing in films, Bipasha said: "Kissing onscreen is very tough. In Jism, I had no inhibitions because it was my boyfriend. With Ranbir, I did the kiss, but later I wanted it to be removed. With Emraan Hashmi, his fame is that of a serial kisser. If I refuse to kiss onscreen, people will kill me."

On the long kissing scene in Raaz 3, Bipasha said: "It was not that it was never ending, but the scene was too long. Several times I forgot my dialogues why doing the long kissing scene."

Bipasha said : "I want to remain sexy till my death. I want to become a sexy grandmother. After all, one does need sex appeal. Your personality has to be sexy."

Bipasha recalled how Aditya Chopra gave her a year to cut off her flab to do a bikini scene in Rio de Janeiro for Dhoom 2.

"If I wear a bikini in real life, I don't think I should have double standards on wearing a bikini in a film. I am anyway a beach bum", said the dusky actor.

Bipasha said, doing intimate scenes was alway easy. "Idhar dekho, Udhar dekho, bas ho gaya. You don't have to do much."

Bipasha Basu in Rajat Sharma's Aap Ki Adalat will be telecast on Saturday, Sept 8 at 10 pm  and on Sunday, Sept 9 at 10 am and 10 pm.
