Jackpot movie review

Kaizad Gustad, who is mostly renowned for giving Katrina Kaif a break in Bollywood through 2003 ‘Boom', has made a comeback after ten years with Sunny Leone and it won't be wrong to say that the she is the only selling point of the film. Jackpot is lazily written and poorly executed flick, which embarks only with the presence of the porn-star and to some extent Naseeruddin Shah. The story kicks off in Goa where Maya (Sunny Leone) and Francis (Sachin S Joshi) are con but this time they want to make it big. So they land to a casino boat there for the card game and plan to fly away with the jackpot money. But it isn't a cake walk since the BOSS (Naseeruddin Shah) of the house won't allow them to do so.You need not to put your brains in this drama which hammers your wits and tests you patience. The flick by far makes no sense whatsoever to please you. The director doesn't feel necessary to emphasise over the execution of the events, which looks broken while the numerous sub-plots spoils the mood badly. Those who may have thought that sizzler Sunny Leone would be serving some eye-popping moments in the flick would also be left disappointed since there are rare of those scenes. Her act has got no improvement as she tries to hard but ends up giving raw expressions.Naseeruddin Shah's presence isn't enough for the flick to garner some points. Though, he tickles your funny bone with his witty one-liner.Sachin Joshi shows some energy as a cunning con but his act needs a lot improvisation. Music by Sharib-Toshi is descent. The song Kabhi Jo Baadal Barse by Arijit Singh leaves an impact.
