Mumbai: Though actor Vivek Oberoi has not been able to deliver any hits in the last few years, he has no regrets about the way his Bollywood career has shaped up after a successful debut with ‘Company' a decade back.
“I have no regrets... my wife still feels I am the best,” Vivek said when asked if he has any regrets about the way his career has shaped up in the industry.
The actor had made his debut in Bollywood in 2002 with Ram Gopal Varma's ‘Company' and went on deliver hit films like ‘Saathiya', ‘Masti' and ‘Yuva'.
However, his career did not go well and many of his films like ‘Kaal','Mission Istanbul', ‘Prince', ‘Rakht Charitra' and others flopped at the box office.
Now, the actor is looking forward to his upcoming romantic-comedy film ‘Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story' opposite Neha Sharma of ‘Crook' fame.
“I play a lover bhai in the film. I have played gangster in films like ‘Company' and ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala' but this gangster is different,” Vivek said.
“Neha plays Simi and both of us are from different part of the world. She is educated, polished while I am street- wise and do not know how to talk to a girl,” he said.
Even producer Kumar Taurani of ‘Tips' is praises for the lead actors. “I feel both Vivek and Neha are perfect for this film. They both suit the role,” he says.
Directed by Vinnil Markan, the film releases in October.
