Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has quashed rumours that AAmir Khan is going to replace him as Munnabhai.
In a recent chat with Mumbai Mirror, Dutt revealed that he would continue to play quirky and lovable goon in the third part as well. Thus, putting and end to all rumours surrounding the franchise.
When asked about the film the actor said, “I have no idea where the rumours are coming from. I am doing Munna Bhai. I spoke to Raju (Hirani) only day before yesterday. He is working on the script and we should work it out soon. It should happen next year.”
This also puts an end to all speculations about the director not wanting Dutt in the film. Dutt's age and his aging looks being the primary reason for the same. Dutt, however, is back in good form and health. “I have lost about 25 kilos recently,” he informed proudly.
Looking forward to playing Munna Bhai, again, the actor is currently busy shooting for Agneepath and promoting his next film Chatur Singh .
“Chatur Singh has nothing to do with Pink Panther. It is based on novel called Chalaak Jasoos. It was very funny when I read it and so I requested Ajay (Chandok) that he should make a script around it,” said the actor about his forthcoming release wherein he plays the role of a comic cop.
