New Delhi: Totally disgraced by film critics, Sajid Khan's ‘Humshakals' is laughing its way to bank minting Rs 40.13 cr in its first weekend.

“Humshakals Fri 12.50 cr, Sat 12.59 cr, Sun 15.04 cr. Total: Rs 40.13 cr nett. India biz”, tweets trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh.

Film critics must be completely shattered the way this ‘comedy of errors', which is tagged as ‘an injustice to innocent comedy seekers' by our critic, is striking gold at box office.

But despite no decent reviews, how on Earth this flick is keeping the cash registers ringing at box office?

While it's known that producer Vashu Bhagnani and Fox Star Studios are already in relax mode by selling Humshakals' satellite and musical rights for Rs 45 cr,  we present you some factors with which the flick is on its toes at box office and unexpectedly can enter the elite club of Rs 100 cr.

1. The first includes its star cast. Being backed by the names like Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor, Tammannaah Bhatia, Esha Gupta and Bipasha Basu, the flick is banking upon the amalgamation of so many stars in one flick.

Himmatwala was the only one among Sajid's highly criticized flicks namely Hey Babby and Housefull 1 & 2, which was bombed at box office. Reason being only Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah shouldered the flick.

2. The flick's comedy genre is the second factor why the viewers are being magentised towards the theatres. With nothing social or containing any message, the flick solely offers entertainment.

3. The monopoly factor to added an advantage to the flick. Humshakals being a solo release helped it to garner more audience at the theatres. Holiday which had brilliant two weeks was totally eclipsed by this comedy flick.

4. After a long time any comedy flick has hit the theatres with good star cast. So, audience wouldn't mind the illogical content being served alongwith until it keeps bringing smiles on their faces.
