Being an actor is certainly not easy. Ask Hrithik Roshan who's started to smoke cigarettes for his role in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Guzaarish.
It is common knowledge by now that Hrithik plays a wheelchair bound paralyzed man in the film. His character is sort of a poet, magician and intellectual who's depressed and wants to put an end to his life. That's why he smokes non-stop throughout the film.
Hrithik, who has been very health conscious from the start, understood the requirement of the role and took to smoking like a chimney. But now, he's ready to kick the butt.
The actor is quoted as saying that he will quit cigarettes exactly on May 21 which is the day his much-anticipated film Kites will release worldwide.
Meanwhile, Hrithik has also hit the gym with vengeance to get back in shape for director Zoya Akhtar's movie ‘Running With The Bulls'. He had deliberately grown weak and out of shape for ‘Guzaarish'.
