Barbara Mori'Kites' was Rakesh Roshan's dream project for Hrithik, he didn't want it to be a typical Bollywood flick hence he made sure that this film would be an international launch pad for his son.
Hollywood actress Barbara Mori was cast opposite Hrithik, even before the film was started there were rumors about Hrithik-Barbara's growing bonding, making Sussanne even more uncomfortable than ever before.
Barbara was seen accompanying Hrithik everywhere be it parties, gigs etc. The film though tanked but Hrithik's closeness towards Barbara was a nail in the coffin in Hrithik-Sussanne's marriage.
It was reported that Sussanne has clearly threatened Hrithik that she would walk out of their marriage, and soon she was seen by some sources walking out of the Roshan household. With Barbara Mori going back to her place, everything seemed to have gotten back on track with Hrithik and Sussanne.
