While the two have been dating each other from quite a long time now, Geeta and Harbhajan have finally decided to enter the nuptial bond on 30th October this year.
And while both the families are gearing for the gala affair, here we present you the royal invitation card to the much awaited wedding.
Packed in a bright red box the card looks regal with the name of the guests embedded in gold on it. The box is decorated by a large ‘Om' symbol and contains a leaflet inside it displaying the invitation to Geeta and Harbhajan's reception on November 1, 2015.
The first look of the card was revealed by A D Singh designs who have reportedly designed the card. The brand took it to Twitter to share the card's regal look as they tweeted, “Countdown to Wedding of year of my friends @Geeta_Basra & @harbhajan_singh Royalty & Class! #GeetawedsBhajji #bridal”.
Reportedly, Geeta Basra and Harbhajan Singh's wedding will be a grand five-day affair and the celebrations will kick off with sangeet and mehendi on October 27 and 28 respectively followed by marriage on October 30 and reception on November 1.
According to the media reports, the would-be-bride Geeta will be seen wearing elegant ghaghara on her big day whereas the dashing groom Harbhajan will don a Raghavendra Rathore sherwani.
Apparently, this big fat Punjabi wedding is expected to be attended by A-list Indian cricketers, the top brass of BCCI along with key members of the touring South African team.
Post the wedding festivities in Punjab, the couple will host a lavish reception in Delhi.
