Mumbai, Jul 18:Choreographer Ganesh Acharya is planning to make an original dance film which he says will be different from his Bollywood colleague Remo D'Souza's 'Any Body Can Dance (ABCD)' released earlier this year.
Acharya had directed 'Swami' (2007), 'Money Hai to Honey Hai' (2008) and 'Angel' (2011) based on vivid themes. "I am planning to make a dance film next year. It will be original and different from ABCD. I am going to make a completely different film," Acharya told PTI.
He said that the film will not be made in 3D. 'ABCD', a 3D dance film directed and choreographed by choreographer Remo D'Souza, cast Prabhudeva and Acharya in key roles. Acharya said he has some interesting projects like Aamir Khan's 'Peekay', Saif Ali Khan's 'Bullet Raja' and Indra Kumar's 'Grand Masti' to choreograph but did not elaborate. Acharya choreographed 'Oye havan kund maston ka jhund' and other songs in recently-released 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', a biopic on sprinter Milkha Singh starring Farhan Akhtar and Sonam Kapoor.
"I had worked with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra in 'Rang De Basanti'. He asked me to do this film. There were some challenges as we had to do it (dance moves) with few military people," he said.
