New Delhi: For some it's a working Diwali, for some the festival of lights is synonymous to 'family time' and for others it's all about revisiting tradition and relishing the moment. Tinsel town stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Huma Qureshi, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone will be celebrating Diwali in their own 'Bollywood' style.
Big B, as 73-year-old Amitabh is lovingly called, will host his annual Diwali party on Wednesday night. His close friends from the industry and family members will be in attendance, said a source close to the megastar.
For Salman Khan, it will perhaps be promotions all the way, with his "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", slated to release just a day after the festival.
Meanwhile, "Tamasha" actors Ranbir and Deepika have planned a mini celebration a day before Diwali here. The actors will be enjoying a pre-Diwali bash with mediapersons before hitting the road back home.
It's 'Rock On' time for Farhan and Shraddha Kapoor. The duo will be spending the day shooting for the upcoming "Rock On 2" in Shillong.
Huma will also be working on her forthcoming film "White" in London on Diwali, which is on Wednesday.
The same goes for Kriti Sanon and Radhika Apte. The actresses will be working on Diwali because of "prior commitments".
Actress Yami Gautam is headed home for the festival. The "Vicky Donor" star will be visiting Chandigarh to be with family.
The "Main Aur Charles" actress Richa Chadha is exited to celebrate the festival with traditional fervour.
"On Diwali, I try my best to spend time with my family. I try to be in my hometown Delhi and partake in all the festivities. We spring clean the house and decorate it. There's a small pooja we perform in the evening and then we have a traditional family dinner," Richa said.
And Taapsee Pannu will celebrate it with her sister and friends in Mumbai.
"I will decorate my house with lots of diyas and lights. I like to make rangolis," Taapsee said.
