New Delhi: All those who dreamt of watching Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge at Mumbai's famous Maratha Mandir will no longer be able to live their dream.
After celebrating 1,000 consecutive weeks of screening Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Maratha Mandir management has finally decided to pull down the 1995 blockbuster movie from its daily schedule.
According to reports, the daily show of the film which was scheduled at 11:30 was rescheduled to 9:15 am, as the management was finding it difficult to accommodate multiple new films that release every week.
As quoted by Hindustan Times, the statement by Maratha Mandir adds, "However, while the theatre management was happy to continue the film for as long as it continued to draw in the audiences, owing to logistical issues of their staff having to work inordinately long hours to accommodate an additional early morning show, it was mutually decided to end the films historic & record breaking run."
Moviebuffs who have loved to watch this blockbuster will love the movie, even if it doesn't run in cinema halls.
