Mumbai: Bollywood's Tragedy King Dilip Kumar, presently convalescing at home after being hospitalized for ailments, has expressed his desire to meet the guardians of those schoolchildren killed in the Peshawar Army Public School terror attack.

Dilip Kumar's family hails from Peshawar, then in undivided India. His family had shifted to Mumbai in the Thirties.

In a statement, Dilip Kumar said: "I was born in the beautiful city of Peshawar in undivided India. I have vignettes of my childhood etched forever in my memory. Whatever the Taliban did to children in Peshawar, is a sin and unpardonable.

"This massacre has given me wounds which I can never express. I pray to God to give strength to those whose children died in this attack. Time has come to uproot and exterminate such evil forces. I cannot lighten their pain, but I want to share their pain."
