New Delhi: Yes, you heard it right! Deepika Padukone called Ranbir Kapoor, her ex-boy friend, as “bro” at an event. The occasion was the trailer launch of the upcoming film of the duo – Tamasha.
Accompanied by the director of the film Imtiaz Ali, the two ex-lovers shared some incredible chemistry at the event. Much to everybody's amazement, they seemed quite pally and comfortable and enjoying each other's company.
During the question and answer session, a journalist asked them about the government's proposal that messages on the social platform Whatsapp should not be deleted for 90 days.
Imtiaz seemed oblivious about such a ruling. Same was the situation with Ranbir and Deepika also, but Ranbir still managed to give an answer.
He advised the audience not to send out flirtatious messages if such a rule has been imposed.
Meanwhile, Deepika was just laughing and when the attention shifted to her, she patted Ranbir's back and promptly said, “What an answer, bro!”
We have no clue whether it was intentional to draw attention like the other gimmicks of the day or whether it was a spontaneous reply without any thoughts. But anyhow this left everyone thinking for a moment.
The film will release on November 27.
