New Delhi: Just over a month remains for Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha's Band Baja Baraat moment, so the duo is in full swing chalking out plans for the D-Day celebration.
The couple recently was caught up in Delhi supervising the preparation, where their wedding is supposed to be solemnized in October.
During his stay here Sahil hosted a dinner party for his cousins and close friends and discussed the delicious cuisines among other preparation. He drew up a menu which had whiskey list, kebabs, biryani and burhani raita among others recipes.
A friend close to Sahil who attended the dinner was quoted by a leading daily as saying, "It was a fun gathering. We rolled out the plans for sangeet and other functions. The food was excellent."
A month before Dia confirmed the 18th October as date for their wedding as she said, "We've finally zeroed in on a date for our wedding. It's 18 October. That's the date when Sahil and I will be married."
Well after their engagement in New York, Sahil found it hard to convince Dia for marriage outside India. Also since Sahil has a big Punjabi family based in Delhi it was perfect for them to have capital as their wedding destination. "It would be more comfortable to have it in Delhi instead of bringing everyone here," he says in an interview to a leading daily.
It's said that the wedding will be attended by the couple's near and dear ones only and later Dia is likely to host a lavish reception in Mumbai for her friends from Bollywood.
