Mumbai: She is rumoured to be one of the top paid female actors in the industry but she cannot manage finances on her own.
Speaking at a promotional event in Mumbai, Deepika Padukone said, "My father takes care of my investments so I don't know much about it (where and how the money is invested). I am not too much of a tech person. I don't understand what apps are about. I prefer clicking pictures and then printing them and putting them in album."
Deepika, who is the brand ambassador for Axis Bank, has featured in several advertisements by the company promoting their apps. But she does not understand monetary investments as her father and former badminton champion Prakash Padukone manages her finances. The Piku star also revealed that she never got pocket money as a child.
She, however, could not recall her first investment. "I give money to my father and he takes good care of it. When I was small, I did not used to get pocket money," Deepika added. The actor will soon be seen in Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra starrer Bajirao Mastani.
