New Delhi: Deepika Padukone has finally got a stark indirect revert by the leading daily through an article published on their website. Written by Pooja Bedi, the write-up has directly pin pointed on the discrimination between a male and a female celeb.

“We don't go into a hostile frenzy when cameras caress and capture SRK's and Hrithik's perfect six-pack abs. We marvel, we envy and we drool. Why should it be different for a woman?” – quoted the article in the leading daily.

A sharp revert or rather a question, the daily has come up with its viewpoint on the entire Deepika Padukone's ‘cleavage' controversy after garnering a lot of flak on its defensive action.

The article published a few moments ago highlights that when a person is someone to which people look upto, he/she becomes bound to get the paparazzi treatment and even the minute detail of that person creates a sensation.

And further justifying their stance on the ‘news piece' they covered, the article elaborates that if showcasing a woman's body is a crime, all item number should be banned.

“When you are a public figure and you go out to a press event, you are bound to be dissected from your chipped nail polish to your repeated shoes. If admiring and focusing on a woman's assets is a crime, all item numbers should be banned.” – The words say.

Ever since the leading daily came out with a tweet in their defense calling the controversial ‘news item' a ‘compliment' for Deepika that they wanted everyone to knew, things turned worse for them.

And now, when they have dedicated an entire write-up on the boiling issue, things are getting even messier. The article further also criticizes celebs (you know whom) who make an unnecessary hue and cry about things covered insensitively or unethical news pieces. Showing their perception on such celebs, the article quotes, “For a celebrity, going out in front of the cameras is a responsibility to flaunt only what they want noticed and it's really silly in the name of women's rights to say, "Why did you notice and focus on what I flaunted?" Or, "How dare you give a public appearance media attention!"

And finally as the article consummates, it focuses on what rather seems as another explanation of our ‘Right to freedom of speech and expression.'

Saying that everyone is entitled of his/her own point of view and that we should readily accept what other think about our deeds, the write-up quotes, “Everything in life is about perspective, and while you are governed by yours, you must keep an open mind about the flipside of the coin. As long as there is no violence or unlawful methods being adopted, everyone is entitled to their point of view. Even if it's top angle!”

Well, we ask who would decide about what all falls under ‘hurting' someone's sentiments or ‘complimenting' someone's beauty!
