Mumbai, March 29: Director Rohan Sippy is not worried about his film "Nautanki Saala" being affected by the soon-to-start Indian Premier League (IPL) as he believes "competition is inevitable" in today's times.

"I think competition is inevitable. There are other films and then there is also IPL. If there is no IPL, then there are films with big actors releasing. So we have to accept it. If promotion leads to curiosity then the audience will come," Rohan said here Thursday in an interview.

Along with "Nautanki Saala", Vidyut Jamwal-starrer "Commando" will also releases April 12, while the sixth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) kicks off April 3.

Rohan is relying on word-of-mouth publicity for his film.

"Secondly, the best known marketing tool is word of mouth. If your friends like it, they spread the word and that is the best thing. Definitely, competition will affect us but it's a part of life," he said.

Meanwhile, Rohan is also relying on actor Ayushmann Khurrana to charm the audiences. Ayushmann has sung two songs in the film - "Saadi Galli" and "Tu Hi Tu" - and Rohan hopes people will watch the film at least twice for the songs.

"He (Ayushmann) gets double credit, he has sung and also composed with Rochak (Kohli). Just for good measure, there is another song which starts this week - 'Tu Hi Tu'. It has been composed by Mike (Mikey McCleary) and sung by Ayushmann. So, he has sung two songs in the film," Rohan said.

"He has a lot of female fans who want to see him and hear him. So definitely, we will not leave any stone unturned to get them to the theatres. If they saw 'Vicky Donor' once, then they should watch 'Nautanki Saala' at least twice for two songs," he added.

"Nautanki Saala" also features Pooja Salvi, Kunal Roy Kapur and Evelyn Sharma.
