New Delhi: Few days back, we heard it from Kapil Sharma that his show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil' will be gong off air because of his ill health.
But as per the latest report by a leading daily, the weekly comedy show will not go offline but instead Karan Johar will replace Kapil Sharma as the host.
Kapil Sharma, reportedly, suffered a slip disc while shooting for his Bollywood debut film. "Kapil suffered a slip disc while working out in the gym for Abbas Mustan's film. He has gone to Vancouver for his treatment and will rest for almost a month after returning to Mumbai,” an insider was quoted as saying by the daily.
With Kapil going off the scene, the channel decided to chalk out a new concept for the show. As per sources, show producers are planning to rope in four big names from B-town as hosts for the show. However, till now only Karan Johar's name has been finalized.

Until Kapil gets back from the bed rest, the four celebrities will be hosting one episode each for a month. And before the change, last episode of the comedy show will feature Salman Khan.
