New Delhi: Comedy Nights with Kapil, one of the most loved shows of Indian television has got a makeover with a one-year leap.
Yesterday, the first episode of the second innings of Comedy Nights with Kapil was aired and it was no less - Akshay Kumar along with Shruti Haasan visited the show to promote their upcoming film - 'Gabbar is Back'. Shruti made it even more quirky by arriving in an auto rickshaw, followed by her enthralling performance.
After one year's leap, there are a lot of changes in the Sharma house - Ali Asgar aka Dadi has a double role of Kapil aka Bittu's choti bua. Finally, Bittu Sharma and his wife Sumona Chakravarti aka Manju have a child to look after. Manju is now a stylish working woman, who pays her husband for compliments (and not targeting her lips).
Gutthi who is now running a parlour had a celebrity client - Shruti Haasan , who was given pedicure. Gutthi as an honest beautician tested the cream on herself but not by applying it on the skin but by tasting it.
Keeping the Sharma family traditions alive, Gutthi planned to make pakora with the basen (gram flour) used for Shruti Haasan's facial (yuck!).
Following the league was Palak, who to prove her love for 'Khiladi' Kumar got slapped from him and that too multiple times.
