New Delhi, Aug 12: Destroying all box office records like a hurricane Chennai Express has accomplished the unthinkable by striking Rs100 cr within three days of its release.
The action comedy starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone had a cracking start with Thursday paid preview shows which minted 6.75 crore followed by Friday and Saturday box office collection of Rs. 33.12 cr and Rs. 28.05 crore respectively. And with Sunday's collection of Rs. 32.50 cr Chennai Express hit the ton making Rs 100.42 cr net in India.

And now the eyes are gazing at Rs. 200 crore club which belongs to Aamir Khan's ‘3 Idiots' for now.
Chennai Express has already surpassed the ‘3 Idiots' three days box office collection alongwith Salman Khan's Ek tha tiger'.
With the velocity of this entertaining train, we are sure that the flick would reach this destination sooner.
