New Delhi, May 30: He has a decade old career in Bollywood and an equally good run down south but actor R Madhavan says he doesn't sit back and relax with offers just pouring in.

The actor, who has given hits like '3 idiots', 'Rang De Basanti' and 'Tanu Weds Manu', says that his choice is limited to a good scripts and his USP is his acting as he doesn't have the added advantage of dancing skills or a hot body.

"I am known for my acting skills and doing good roles so I have to wait for the perfect oppurtunity. I can't dance like Hrithik neither do I have a six pack that I can take up any role," Madhavan old PTI in an interview.

The 40-year-old has shared screen space with other stars in most of his hits, but doesn't mind doing so as long the role is equally distributed.

"I don't mind sharing the space on screen as long as I am given equal recognition, like Aamir Khan does. But ideally I would love to do lead roles," said Madhavan, who was in the capital to attend an event by Maruti Suzuki WagonR.

The actor says he is a big fan of Sunny Deol and would love to do a movie with him.

"I am a big fan of Sunny Deol, I just love him. I have almost watched all his movies and would love to do a movie with him," he said.

Madhavan hasn't signed any Bollywood project after his recent hit 'Tanu Weds Mannu'. He is doing a movie 'Vettai' down south, where he plays a cop.

He is amongst the few actors who have achieved success in Hindi as well as Tamil cinema and manages to keep his fans happy in both the places.

"I don't think about it as working in two places, I just think of it as doing variety roles. I have planned my career like that and I am happy that it has shaped up so well.

What worked for me is knowing both Hindi and Tamil, I think that is the reason I managed to do well," he said.

Madhavan has always maintained his distance from the media and is happy the way his relation has been with them.

"I am very glad that people recognise me and want to know more about me but I prefer staying in news only for my work rather than doing mundane things for unnecessary publicity," he said. PTI
