New Delhi: Every year hundreds of young aspiring actors come to Mumbai with the hope of making big in Bollywood. But a very few succeed in making their debut on big screen.

This year was also very happening in terms of debutant actors in Bollywood. Some actors like Tiger Shroff and Shiv Darshan belong from entertainment family and some even came from neighbouring country to try their luck in the city of dreams, Mumbai.

Here are a few of the young bloods who made their first appearance on big screens.

Fawad Khan (Khoobsurat)
The Pakistan born and bread actor Fawad Khan was not entirely unknown to the Indian audience when he made his debut in Hindi film industry. Pakistani film ‘Khuda Kay Liye' depicting him as a rockstar-turned-extremist was appreciated worldwide including India.
The actor made his Bollywood debut with ‘Khoobsurat' opposite Sonam Kapoor. His female fans went gaga over his princely look in the film. The remake of the 1980 film of the same name, ‘Khoobsurat' was declared a hit and so was Fawad. His fan following in India is definitely highest among the male debutants of this year.

Himansh Kohli (Yaariyan)
Released on January 10, ‘Yaariyan' introduced Delhi actor Himansh Kohli to Bollywood. Though it was not his first stint in the entertainment industry as he was already popular with his character Raghav Oberoi in TV show Humse Hai Life, it was his first role on big screen. The actor was highly appreciated for his acting skills and looks in the film.
‘Yaariyan' went on to become first surprise hit of the year.

Tiger Shroff (Heropanti)
The son of Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, Tiger made his debut with Sajid Nadiadwala's ‘Heropanti.' The actor was appreciated for his looks, physique and acting in the film, though the film itself was not very successful. He was the second biggest debutant name this year after Fawad Khan.

Jay Bhanushali (Hate Story 2)
Television actor Jay Bhanushali made his acting debut on cinema this year. His most famous act on TV is on the show ‘Kayamath.' The actor's first Bollywood film was erotic thriller ‘Hate Story 2.'

Tahir Raj Bhasin (Mardaani)
Mardaani was highly appreciated film this year by the critics and the audience alike. At the receiving end of these appreciations was debutant actor Tahir Raj Bhasin. With his role of English speaking, humble human trafficker, Tahir Raj was huge success on his debut. The film starring Rani Mukerji was declared a hit.
