Even, the hoopla around Mangalyaan's launch was nothing compared to their Bollywood launch pad, big production house, touted directors, and above all B-town's most handsome hunks.
But even all this couldn't promise them long enough career in Bollywood.
While most of them just disappeared soon after their debut, handful of them somehow managed to stay afloat and make appearance 'here n there'.
Take a look at celebs that have gone missing for way too long....
Meghna Kothari
She became an overnight star with 'Prem Agan's release owing to her sizzling hot chemistery with lead Fardeen Khan.
Directed by noted actor Feroze Khan, the movie was a big launch pad for both Fardeen Khan and Meghna.
Meghna garnered much popularity thanks to her 'Exercise' song from the movie.
She was last seen playing role of Aishwarya Rai's sister in Gurinder Chaddha's 'Bride & Prejudice'.

She made it quite well on 'Box Office' with commendable performances in movies, Gadar, Humraaz, Mangal Pandey amongst others.
After a string of failures, it seem Ameesha have gone into hiding; she barely makes public appearance these days.
