New Delhi: Vidya Balan's ‘Bobby Jasoos' and debutant Armaan Jain's ‘Lekar Hum….' have received a lukewarm response.

The morning and the noon shows have witnessed a dry spell but evening shows are expected to have better footfalls.

‘Bobby Jasoos' opened very averagely on box office and let down the expectations quite much on the basis of its first day of release making an total business of Rs 4.1 crore. After having a low occupancy in the morning shows, the film did not pick up much in the evening and night as well.

Due to non romantic movie and less youthful star cast, most of the youngsters were distracted by either already released 'Ek Villain' or the newly released 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil'.

Starring debutantes Armaan Jain and Deeksha Seth in lead roles, LHDD could not gather much footfall even for the evening shows after having a poor occupancy in the morning and afternoon shows.

"#BobbyJasoos Fri 1.78 cr nett. India biz." tweeted Taran Adarsh.

' Ek Villain' which not only has a better screen count but is also currently on a good stride at the box office has shown an unpredictable collection of Rs 77.20 cr at box office in its first week and is continuing to reign even after the two new releases namely Bobby Jasoos and Lekar Hum Deewana Dil have hit the road.

The romantic drama 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil' that released this Friday with ‘Bobby Jasoos', opened with extremely poor numbers.

The film on its opening day collected merely Rs 80 lakh at the domestic box office. LHDD even though was promoted well in advance; it could not create the required buzz and failed to charm the audiences.

While the multiplexes did not fare well enough, the single screens too had bad performance.

Having the lowest screen count among the running movies such as' Bobby Jasoos' and 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil', the film's first day business suffered.

Hope both the movies cover up the collection during weekend.
