New Delhi: Bigg Boss has grabbed the attention ever since its first season went on air. While the concept of the show helped it gain a lot of TRPs, Salman Khan being roped in as host raised its popularity even further.
Amidst all the controversies and chaos in the Bigg Boss house, Salman turned out to be the perfect host for the show. Though Salman's statement last season that he would not host the show any more did come as a setback for the audience, the news that he is going to return has reignited the interest in Bigg Boss.
Now, Bigg Boss is coming up with its 9th season and anticipation levels are reaching new heights with every passing day. While there is a lot of speculation about the participants of Bigg Boss 9, the final list of who will be entering the controversial house is yet to come out.
Although, the controversies inside the Bigg Boss house do increase the TRPs for the show, there have been incidents when host Sallu Bhai too lost his temper on air and lashed out at some of the contestants.

Salman Khan vs Karishma Tanna
In season 8 of the Bigg Boss, Karishma Tanna had a real tough time with Salman Khan and eventually a fight broke out between the two.
Salman Khan was seen teasing Karishma over Upen Patel in a playful manner, when Karishma over-reacted and broke down on the screen saying, ‘It's not funny'.
Karishma was upset as other contestants were laughing at her after she was teased by Salman. Her reaction not only surprised Salman but also annoyed him to an extent that he walked off the stage of the show. In fact, Salman was also seen giving a tough time to Karishma for reacting in this way.
Salman Khan vs Kushal Tandon
Salman Khan had a tiff with Kushal Tandon in Bigg Boss 7 after Kushal called Armaan Kohli a ‘buddha' during a fight in the house.
While Salman picked up Kushal's ‘buddha' comment, he discussed it with him in front of all the other contestants which eventually led to a heated argument.
Apparently, Salman looked a little biased towards Armaan here.
Salman Khan vs Sapna Bhavnani
This was one of the fiercest verbal arguments Bigg Boss has ever witnessed. The war of words between Salman Khan and Sapna Bhavnani began after Salman asked the latter why she came to Bigg Boss 6.
With Salman not being satisfied with her answer, an irked Sapna was seen saying “thanks haa, next time” to the host of the show. However, Salman Khan gave a perfect reply to her.
Salman Khan vs Imam Siddiqui
Imam Siddiqui was the most controversial contestant of Bigg Boss 6. Imam too had a war of words with the host of the show Salman Khan when he made a statement on Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta.
Imam had reportedly stated that he made SRK and Preity Zinta what they are today. His statement annoyed Salman to such an extent that he strictly rebuked Imam for making such a remark.
Salman Khan vs VJ Siddharth Bhardwaj
The first time Bigg Boss host Salman Khan lost his cool on the show was is season 5 and it was due to VJ Siddharth Bhardwaj.
Apparently, Siddharth had misbehaved with Mahek Chahel inside the Bigg Boss House. This infuriated Salman to such an extent that he warned Siddharth about his behaviour and reportedly stated that he would get inside the house and bash Siddharth if he dared to repeat the act.
