New Delhi: After a brilliant weekend, Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Bhoothnath Returns' is doing a fine job in weekdays too.
On Monday, the flick, however, did a good business of Rs 4.40 cr, on Tuesday the figures dropped a bit.
“BhoothnathReturns Fri 4.07 cr, Sat 5.85 cr, Sun 8.10 cr, Mon 4.40 cr, Tue 3.02. Total: Rs 25.44 cr nett. India biz. Rock-steady”, tweets trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh.
Had the flick released a week earlier, the message about the voting rights could have been more valued since the poll began on April 7th.
On the other side, Main Tera Hero too performed well at the box office despite the newer release and is one its verge to hit Rs 50 cr mark.
“MainTeraHero Week 1: Rs 38.48 cr. Weekend 2: Rs 7.50 cr. Grand total: Rs 45.98 cr nett. Heading towards Rs 50 cr mark. India biz. Excellent!”, confirms Taran Adarsh.
All eyes are on Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's highly anticipated flick ‘2 States' which looks promising. But will it completely overshadow the earlier releases, only time will tell.
