New Delhi: Hrithik-Katrina's Bang Bang has demolished two more records at box office with a mammoth collection of Rs 144.45 cr nett in India.
The movie which hit the theaters on Gandhi Jayanti has completed ten days at box office and has beaten this year release Singham Returns' lifetime collection of Rs 141 cr nett in India to become the second highest grosser of the year so far.
On its second Saturday, the movie garnered Rs 5 cr nett in India taking its ten days total to Rs 144.45 cr.
On the other hand, this Siddharth Anand directorial has climbed up on the charts of all the biggest grosser. The movie has beaten Salman Khan's Dabbang 2' lifetime collection of Rs 265 cr gross worldwide, as mentioned in a leading daily Koimoi.
Bang Bang gross collection till now is Rs 265.25 cr worldwide and is at eight positions in all time biggest grossers' list.
The action-comedy in comparison to biggies stands at the fifth position in terms of ten days nett domestic collection. Undoubtedly, Dhoom 3 stands tall in the charts with Rs 227.83 cr nett collection while Krrish 3, Kick and Chennai Express follow in the list with their ten days collection of Rs 206.12 cr, Rs 198.11 cr and Rs 168 cr nett in India.
The second release on October 2nd Haider starring Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor managed to get Rs 2.2 cr nett in India taking its ten totals to Rs 45.41 cr.
Haider and Bang Bang are expected to go good in its second week since, new releases namely Ekkis Topon Ki Salaami, Tamanchey among others have received a lukewarm response at box office.
