While Bollywood is gearing up to make its presence felt at the Cannes Film Festival, two of the most glamorous star seem to be getting ready to fight it out with each other at the much-awaited evening.Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Freida Pinto, are set to walk the red carpet at the coveted fest next month.
According to a media report, Ash and Freida are gearing up in their own way to make sure that one looks better than the other as they go on to represent India at the 63rd Cannes Film Fest.
Reports reveal that Freida would come to Cannes as part of the cast of Woody Allen's new film ‘You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger', which was shot in London and also stars Naomi Watts, Anthony Hopkins and Anna Friel. The film, which features Anupam Kher as the father of the character played by Freida, is being shown out of competition.
On the other hand, Ash is set to dazzle the occasion along with hubby Abhishek Bachchan and filmmaker Mani Ratnam, as the trio would screen their upcoming flick ‘Raavan' at the ‘Official India Pavillion'.
In the past Freida Pinto had to defend her decision for not wearing a sari, by saying that that she was too young for it. However, for this year too, it has still not been revealed if Freida would wear something Indian when she graces the red carpet. Ash however seems pretty confident about the fashion statement she's set to make on the occasion.
