Mumbai, Nov 2: Bollywood's most famous daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is scheduled to deliver (probably twins) this fortnight and the family has chosen the seven-star speciality hospital Seven Hills in Marol near Andheri East, says a media report.
The hospital which made headlines after running into several controversies over its quota of beds for the poor, was selected by the Bachchans after Aishwarya's sister-in-law Shrima gave birth to a baby boy here last year.
Aishwarya was impressed with the facilities and began consulting the in-house gynaecologist Dr Vinita Salvi for her pregnancy.
The Big B family obviously wanted privacy in the hospital and Seven Hills scored a high on this point. The due date of delivery is November 14.
Sources at the hospital said, the gynaecologist especially comes for Aishwarya's appointments at 7:30 AM usually before other patients start trickling in.
Not willing to upset their star client, the hospital has walked the extra mile to keep these visits a secret.
“Every time Aishwarya makes a trip to the hospital, extra precaution is taken to safeguard her privacy,” says a source.
“The sonography section is barricaded and curtains drawn to keep away other curious patients,” revealed the source.
The hospital has also prepped up a VIP deluxe suite for her, which has been booked for a week starting November 10.
There is a possibility of Aishwarya going in for a C-Section delivery on 11/11/11.
The number is significant, not only because it is a day that comes once in every 800 years, but also because Bachchan senior's birth date falls on an 11th, October 11.
“However we cannot ever predict a baby's arrival so we have booked the room from the 10th to the 15th,” added the source.
