Arshad Warsi celebrates his 45th Birthday

The 'circuit' of Munnabhai MBBS, Arshad Warsi has turned 45 today, (19th April) and his bhai giri is still on in B'wood. Very few people know about this actor's life. Arshad ,due to financial difficulties, used to work as a door-to-door salesman at the age of 17. At the same time he was keenly interested in dance and was given an offer by Akbar Sami's dance group in Mumbai.There the actor started his dancing and choreography career and went on to claim numerous titles at various platforms. Some of them include Indian dance competition in 1991, along with fourth prize in the Modern Jazz category in 1992 and World Dance championship in London.Earlier Arshad also assisted Mahesh Bhatt in the flick titled “Thikana” and “Kaash” in 1987. In 1993 Arshad got an opportunity to choreograph the title track of the flick “Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja”.But Arshad Warsi finally became an actor when he worked in the Big B's ABCL production “Tere Mere Sapne” which was a hit at the box office. Thereafter the actor worked in about dozens of films but all went cold at the Box office.All those flops were covered when he worked as “Circuit” in Raj Kumar Hirani's trailblazing flick “Munnabhai MBBS”. This role of Arshad was entirely different from his previous performances and for its excellent timing of humor, Arshad won Zee Cine Award. He was also given the Best actor in supporting role at the Filmfare awards.Comedy thereafter became this actor's genre as he worked in various slapstick flicks namely, Kabul Express, Dhamaal, Hulchul, Double Dhamaal, Maine Pyar Kyu kiya and all the three instalments of Golmaal. All these flicks did moderately well.But “Lage Raho Munna Bhai” and “Ishqiya” stood apart as these made him win the best Comedian Award at Filmfare and best supporting actor at Star Screen respectively.Besides acting, Arshad also tried his hand as a producer in 2010 in the movie “Hum Tum aur Ghost”. He also became the host of Bigg Boss, Season 1, the Indian version of the reality television series Big Brother.This year the actor gave some moving performances in flicks like Zila Ghaziabad and Jolly LLB.Soon Arshad will be witnessed in the third instalment of Munnabhai series as the flick is titled “Munna Bhai Chale America”.We hope Arshad possesses all the happiness in life and wish him a very Happy Birthday.
