New Delhi: Actor Arjun Kapoor is the Bollywood hunk blessed with dapper looks and amazing acting skills. His debut movie ‘Ishaqzaade' shouted aloud that he is a superstar in the making.
He saw a good year in 2014 with both his releases ‘2 States' and ‘Finding Fanny' getting the appreciation they deserved. Though his fans and even the industry had high hopes from him, the actor's last movie 'Tevar' bombed at the box office.
Maybe this is why Arjun is choosing his movies cautiously. Reportedly, he refused to work with his father, producer Boney Kapoor.
Now, this might come as a shock to many. Boney Kapoor is among the few ace producers of the industry who has given many blockbusters and made the careers of many stars. At a time in his career when Arjun isn't doing that well, his refusal seems like a bold step.
Arjun was always close to his mother who lost her battle to cancer weeks before his first movie released. Though Arjun has always claimed that he is on good terms with his father, rumours have often asserted otherwise.
Reportedly, Boney offered Arjun four movies in the past but he turned them all down because he disliked the scripts. Buzz has it that Arjun doesn't want to rush in and sign movies. After ‘Tevar' he wants to give enough thought before agreeing to a movie. Declining four movies, however, points in the direction that there is more to the story than just not liking the scripts.
Arjun Kapoor will be seen next in R. Balki's ‘Ki and Ka' opposite Kareena Kapoor.
