Anushka Sharma to perform at IPL 8 opening ceremony
New Delhi: Anushka Sharma may be going through a hard time after India's defeat in World Cup 2015 Semi Finals and her beau Virat Kholi's bad performance in the match but now she's got one reason to smile.
According to reports Anushka may perform in opening ceremony of IPL. As reported by DNA, an official announcement from the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) is yet to be made. It is said that the NH10 star will be seen performing on her popular Bollywood tracks at the ceremony.
The report also stated that the Board also plans to rope in big stars like Varun Dhawan and Hrithik Roshan for the grand opening.

Biswarup Dey, treasurer of Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), (the hosts of the event) was quoted as saying, “The talks are fruitful and we are hopeful of seeing Anushka for the IPL opening ceremony. The Board is in talks with the actress and an official announcement will be made soon.”
