After 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' success, Anushka Sharma returned in 2010 with Yash Raj Films' another blockbuster 'Band Baaja Baraat', opposite then newcomer Ranveer Singh. They hit it off instantly onscreen and off screen both, their chemistry was an instant hit among movie buffs. The movie did well at box office.
With 'Band Baaja Baraat' Anushka and Ranveer's love story also took the flight, but it didn't last long and soon the flight of their love crashed before the starting of their next film 'Ladies VS Ricky Bahl'.
Anushka again created waves by her vivacious character Akira in late filmmaker Yash Chopra's last film as a director 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' in 2012. The film also did well at the box office. She even bagged Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for playing a documentary filmmaker in the film.
