Mumbai: Anushka, who made an impressive debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, is likely to be cast in Rajkumar Hirani's next project titled Peekay.
Aamir Khan is reuniting with Raju Hirani three years after their blockbuster film 3 Idiots. If reports are to be believed then Anushka, who has recently signed Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet opposite Ranbir , is the choice of both Aamir and Raju.
They both feel that Anushka is one of the most talented actresses in that age group.
However, Ranbir Kapoor too suggested her name to Anurag Kashyap for "Bombay Velvet" and although she was excited to do the project, dates were clashing with "Peekay".
Now Anurag Kashyap's "Bombay Velvet" has been pushed back and she is able to work on both the projects. Anushka attending the Gangs of Wassepur screening in London recently only confirms this fact(that she is going to star in Bombay Velvet).
Currently Anushka is busy with Srk for shooting their upcoming movie in London.
