New Delhi: Bollywood is a home to several talented artists who have been ruling the hearts of millions. But amidst this brigade of talented actors, there are three Khans – Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan who are believed to be indispensable pillars of the industry.

The three Khans turn out to be a tough competition for other actors. However, Salman, SRK and Aamir have recently been targeted for booking all major holidays for their film releases.

Every year, the three Khans book Eid, Diwali and Christmas in advance for their films, as a result of which other actors don't get an opportunity to release their films on these festivals.

While earlier actor Ajay Devgn had openly expressed his anger over this Khan monopoly, now Khiladi Kumar of Bollywood Akshay Kumar has taken a dig at Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir.

Akshay Kumar is currently promoting his upcoming movie ‘Airlift' which is all set to hit the theatres on 22nd January 2016.

During a promotional event for the film, Akshay took a jibe at the Khans and stated that, “Kuch bachta hi nahi hai hai apne liye. Republic Day bachta hai isliye Airlift aa rahi hai”.

However, the ‘Holiday' actor soon clarified the statement saying, “Everybody does it. They book it for one-two years in advance. Hum toh kabhi bhi aa jate hai. There's nothing wrong also. That's absolutely fine. Everyone has the choice to release their films whenever they want to. And if their films get the holiday release dates, it's good for them”.

Later, Akshay even stated that this Khan monopoly doesn't bother him at all. He stated, “I don't see that as a point. I just release my films when my director, my producer and my distributor is ready. So it doesn't matter”.

The story of ‘Airlift' is a real story of what happened to 1,70,000 Indians staying in Kuwait when Saddaam Hussein (the then Iraqi dictator) had attacked Kuwait in 1990.
