New Delhi: Akshay Kumar-Sonakshi Sinha starrer ‘Holiday- A Soldier Is Never Off Duty' has beaten Salman Khan's ‘Jai Ho' and Alia-Arjun's ‘2 States' in the second weekend earning impressive Rs 19.37 cr.

Salman Khan starrer after the first week dropped drastically and grossed just Rs 13.9 cr nett in it's second weekend, while 2 States, which held the record of highest second weekend box office collection this year with Rs 15.53 cr business loses its reign to ‘Holiday'.
The flick is racing towards Rs 100 cr club at a fast pace and by Wednesday it will touch the milestone. However, if we look at its overseas collection, the A.R. Murugadoss directorial has crossed this margin with flying colours.
The action flick within ten days of its release has garnered around Rs 20.52 cr at overseas market taking the worldwide collection to approximately Rs 108.57 cr.
“Holiday Overseas total after Weekend 2 is approx $ 3.416 million [Rs 20.52 cr]”, confirms Adarsh.
Last week's release ‘Fugly' started on an ordinary note earning Rs 2.95 cr and witnessed a slight growth on Saturday raking Rs 3.04 cr nett in India.
