New Delhi: The next directorial venture of Dance Guru Prabhudeva ‘Action Jackson' is all set to come out with its trailer on October 22nd.

The first look of lead actors in the film-Ajay Devgan and Sonakshi Sinha-were released recently.

Though Ajay was seen in the dancing mood in the poster, he will be seen doing hardcore action in the film. Action Jackson is an action thriller about a cop trying to find people who tried to kill his father without letting him know. Ajay Devgan is playing the role of an ideal son and a brave Police Officer.

Ajay's last film ‘Singham Returns' in which he played a cop too was a huge success. This will be the first collaboration of Ajay and Prabhudeva.

This will be the second film of Sonakshi and Ajay together after ‘Son of Sardar'.

The film also stars Yami Gutam and Kunaal Roy Kapur in supporting roles. Prabhudeva's first choice for female lead was Jacqueline Fernandez but she opted out due to date clashes with ‘Kick'.

Prabhudeva was planning to release the film on Diwali this year but postponed it for Shah Rukh's ‘Happy New Year'. The film is scheduled to release on December 5th 2014.

The film is an action thriller and remake of Telugu super hit ‘Dookudu'. Telugu film stared Mahesh Babu in lead role and released in September 2011. After the failure of his last remake film ‘Himmatwala', Ajay acted overly cautious and asked for a fresh script from Prabhudeva.

Though the film is the remake of a South Indian film, the title is taken from a hit 1988 American film.
