New Delhi: Ajay Devgn is all set to play a transgender in his next flick. The film, which is a remake of Tamil film titled 'Kanchcana' will be produced by Tusshar Kapoor and Shabina Khan.
While the actor was initially busy with his directorial 'Shivaay,' the film has got a break as of now due to not-so-apt weather conditions in Canada, where the film is yet to be shot.

In the original 'Kanchana,' actor Sarath Kumar played the protagonist and gained huge applauds for his portrayal of a transgender who seeks revenge by being a spirit.

While 'Drishyam' remake is said to be directed by Nishikant Kamat, 'Baadshaho' will be directed by Milan Luthria.
As per reports, while ‘Shivaay' will resume its shooting from late October this year, ‘Baadshaho' will be releasing around Independence Day the next year.
