New Delhi: Ajay Devgn is all set to play a transgender in his next flick. The film, which is a remake of Tamil film titled 'Kanchcana' will be produced by Tusshar Kapoor and Shabina Khan.

While the actor was initially busy with his directorial 'Shivaay,' the film has got a break as of now due to not-so-apt weather conditions in Canada, where the film is yet to be shot.

Further, by playing a transgender in Kanchana's remake, Devgn would join the likes of Sadashiv Amrapurkar (Sadak), Mahesh Manjreker (Rajjo), Ravi Kissen (Bullet Raja), Ashutosh Rana (Shabnam Mousi), Paresh Rawal (Tamanna) and many other significant performers in the industry.

While 'Drishyam' remake is said to be directed by Nishikant Kamat, 'Baadshaho' will be directed by Milan Luthria.
