Mumbai: Bollywood star Aamir Khan has signed a Rs 88 crore endorsement deal for a commercial brand, and the amount appears to be mind-boggling.
The brand will shoot a series of ads with Aamir to boost up their sales. Since Aamir was careful about choosing endorsement, he took his own time to sign it, and after initial talks, he quoted the huge amount of Rs 88 crore. The deal is for a year, and Aamir's earlier contract for another commercial brand is now over.
So far, the Bollywood actors who have earned whopping amounts from endorsements include Salman Khan, who got Rs 20 crore for a cola commercial, Kareena Kapoor Rs 10 crore for a Delhi construction company, Katrina Kaif Rs 8 crore for a paint ad and Ranbir Kapoor Rs 8 crore for a soft drink brand.
