Mumbai: Actor Aamir Khan has praised director Ram Madhvani for the trailer of ‘Neerja', an upcoming biopic on the life of late air hostess Neerja Bhanot.
The ‘Taare Zameen Par' actor took to Twitter on Friday, where he also wished Madhvani and the entire team of the film.
"Great trailer Ram. Best wishes to you and the entire team. Love," Aamir tweeted.
In the Fox Star Studios film, Sonam Kapoor will be seen playing the role of Bhanot, a Pan Am flight attendant who was gunned down by terrorists when Flight 73 was hijacked in Karachi in 1986. Sonam was last leen opposite superstar Salman Khan in ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' which proved to be a huge bollywood success.
Veteran actress Shabana Azmi plays the role of Bhanot's mother in the film, which is slated to hit the theatres on February 19 next year.
Meanwhile, Aamir is currently busy with his upcoming film ‘Dangal', which is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and jointly produced by Aamir, Kiran Rao and Siddharth Roy Kapur.
It is based on the life of former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. Starring Sakshi Tanwar as Aamir Khan's wife, ‘Dangal' is slated to release in December 2016. Aamir's last film was ‘PK' which released in 2014.
