New Delhi: Actor Aamir Khan who'll be turning 50 this week is being welcomed with open arms by Bollywood's 'senior' group.
Celebrations are in waiting for Bollywood's 'perfectionist' as Aamir's wife Kiran Rao is planning to hold a lavish party for all his friends, family and people who have been a part of his life.
Unlike all the other Khan's parties, this one won't be hosted in their place in Mumbai; instead Kiran has booked Hotel Shillim in Lonavala for the grand celebration.
Aamir who is clueless about what awaits him as a surprise was in all smiles when he replied to some reporters questioning him about his birthday party guest list, "Kiran has organised something with close friends and family and extended family. People I have grown up with. My school friends, some who I have known from second standard. People I have spent many years with. I just know that she is planning something and is getting a group of people together. All I have been told is that there is a party that she is taking me to. It's not in Mumbai also. I don't know where it is. But I don't think it's at my house in Paanchgani. Kahin toh kar rahi hai woh. I know she has called some friends of mine. I don't know who she has called. I have no idea of the guestlist".
While talking to Bollywood Mantra, a source revealed, "Usually Kiran and Aamir host all their parties at their Bandra residence which are all exclusive and tasteful as their guests enjoy themselves thoroughly every time they attend. But this time apparently Aamir and Kiran decided to throw a more lavish party because he will touch 50. It's a hush-hush affair and the invites have already gone out. A reason that the Hilton Shillim was chosen for the party was because it offers guests privacy and serenity. Aamir doesn't want the media gate-crashing the event. Kiran has also been making personal calls to the guests inviting them."
Kiran has planned a whole day grand affair, where guests would be arriving in on Friday evening or Saturday morning, following which they would be treated to luxurious spa, sauna and fitness facilities. She has thoroughly planned out tiniest detail from air-conditioned guestrooms with private pools, furnished balconies to patios offering mountain views.
Being a part of Aamir and Kiran's joyous occasion would be the Bachchan family, Salman Khan's family, Anushka Sharma, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Deepika Padukone, Prasoon Joshi, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji among others.
