New Delhi: Aamir Khan-starrer "3 Idiots" has been nominated for the 37th Japan Academy Awards in the best Outstanding Foreign Language Film category.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the movie, which released in India Dec 23, 2009, was a blockbuster. It also featured Sharman Joshi, R. Madhavan and Kareena Kapoor.
