Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif starrer Zero has been weaving magic onscreen ever since its release on December 21 this year. The King Of Romance SRK was last seen in Jab Harry Met Sejal and Zero was his big comeback after a gap of one and a half years. Fans were waiting for the film for so long but their excitement was soaring high every minute and the results have been welcoming. The film opened with good numbers and collected Rs 20 crores approx on its first day after which the numbers didn't stop pouring in. After four days, Zero's total collection is said to be around 74 crores in India and Rs 107 crores worldwide.
Talking about the worldwide box office, Shah Rukh Khan's Zero managed to bring in Rs 35 crores on the opening day and has now hit a century. Interestingly, Zero is only the sixth film this year to go past Rs 100 crore at the global box office. The five other films above it which hit a century are Baaghi 2, Padmaavat, Thugs of Hindostan, Race 3 and Sanju. In fact, Sanju is the only film this year to hit a double century in its opening weekend.
On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan's Zero is going to witness tough competition from the upcoming witness to earn number at the box office as Rohit Shetty's film Simmba will hit the screens as well. Starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, the film is a cop drama inspired by Tamil film Temper. The trailer of Simmba has already managed to receive great response from the cinema lovers. Earlier, talking about the film Zero, director Aanand L Rai said, "The film is about incompleteness of any form - be it emotional or physical. But it has nothing to do with happiness. The film is about 'let's celebrate life in any form'. This film makes me feel very dreamy. "I being on wheelchair can be a happier person than you. It is about accepting all the flaws and weaknesses and celebrate life. It is about romancing life not surviving. Don't survive... live.''
