True to his promise of a surprise for his fans a few a hours ago, Aamir Khan today revealed the teaser of his upcoming home production, ‘Secret Superstar’. The actor, who is gearing up for ‘Dangal’, took to Twitter to share the teaser with his fans.
The actor Tweeted, “To all those who complain that I come once in two years...”.
The trailer showcases a young girl Insu who aspires to be a singer. However, her father’s disapproval forces Insu to hide her identity while uploading her first video on Youtube. The teaser ends with superstar Aamir khan saying, “It is superhit, pasand aaya to like karo aur nahi aaya to taste change karo.”
‘Secret Superstar’ features Zaira Wasim as the lead, the girl who will be seen playing the role of young Geeta Phogat in ‘Dangal’. Aamir Khan has done a cameo in the flick. With the teaser, Aamir has lifted the curtain from the first look. Directed by Advait Chandan, ‘Secret Superstar’ is slated to release on August 4.
While Aamir is known to not take back to back projects, this will be the first time that two of his films will be releasing within a gap of 8 months. This piece of news is definitely going to make Aamir’s fan smile.
Aamir’s upcoming venture ‘Dangal’ directed by Nitesh Tiwari is based on the real life story of Mahavir Singh Phogat. It also stars Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra. The flick is all set to hit the screens on December 23.
