Shah Rukh Khan is king of romance. Ladies do go week at their knees when he strikes his signature pose with his arms stretched wide. Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's love story is an inspiration to all the lovers who seek nothing but their partner's side. SRK and Gauri, who has been married for last 27 years often give relationship goals. But do you know Baadshah Khan lied to his doting wife Gauri about their honeymoon? Yes, you read it right.
Before their wedding, SRK promised to take Gauri to Paris for their honeymoon but it was all a big lie. Shah Rukh recently narrated his honeymoon story at an award show. When Vicky Kaushal showed a picture to Shah Rukh and asked the story behind it, the Raees actor narrated an interesting story. SRK told wife Gauri that he will take her to Paris but instead took her to Darjeeling as he was ''very poor'' that time. SRK and Gauri tied the knot before the actor shot to fame and became a superstar.
''This is my favourite picture...When I got married, I was very poor while Gauri was middle class, well to do. So like how usually everyone does, I had promised her that after we get married, I'll take you to Paris and show you the Eiffel Tower. But obviously it was all a lie because neither I had the money nor I had the air tickets but somehow I convinced her. Finally, we were heading to Darjeeling to shoot a song for Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. And I felt that considering even Gauri hasn't travelled abroad she wouldn't know much so main usko Paris bolke Darjeeling le gaya. Yeh humara honeymoon hai....20 days after our wedding.." he said.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan who's last production venture Badla fared very well at the box office, will now be collaborating with Bobby Deol for Netflix's original titled Class of 83. Reports suggest that Class of 83 will be based on a reunion in 1983.
A Bollywood Hungama report reads, "Shah Rukh Khan and Bobby Deol have shared a great friendship since quite some time now. Bobby is keen on trying out something new and Shah Rukh Khan has always been interested in exploring the web platform further. Having them collaborate for Class of ’83 is definitely something to look out for.”
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan, recently in an interview, revealed that he doesn't have something exciting to work on. However, grapevines are abuzz with rumours about SRK playing a villain in Atlee Thalapathy's 63. Reports say that it will be an extended cameo with a 15 minutes odd role.
