Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao have been teasing fans with behind the scenes pictures and looks from their upcoming movie ‘Mental Hai Kya’, now the duo has finally revealed when can we watch the film. Yes, the makers have revealed the release date of the film with a quirky video.
Balaji Motions Pictures took to their Instagram account to share the video of their lead actors Kangana and Rajkummar and announced the release date of the film which is 22 February 2019. The caption read, “Two mentals coming together on 22.2. #MentalHaiKya releasing on 22nd February, 2019!” Yes, the film will hit the screens next year. In the video, the actors are seen arguing with each other claiming that the other one is mental, after which they claim that the mentals will meet you on February 22.
Earlier in an interview with Mid-Day, producer Ekta Kapoor has said that “Mental Hai Kya celebrates the beauty in imperfections and in being different and shouts out, sanity is overrated! I’m thrilled to work with Kangana and Raj on this one.” Her production house even shared a picture of Ekta spending some time with Kangana and Rajkummar Rao with the caption, “Incre-mental: When hanging out with your team adds to your craziness!”
Mental Hai Kya is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shaailesh R Singh. Directed by debutant Prakash Kovelamudi, the film also features Amyra Dastur and Satish Kaushik apart from Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao.
